Dear Emelia,
Today you are 6 Months! I simply cannot believe you are halfway to One!
You are now sitting up on your own! This morning you sat on your play mat for 15 minutes before deciding you wanted to lay down on your belly. You are enjoying tummy time more. You continue to babble and in addition, you are making so many silly sounds with your mouth. You vibrate your lips and spit, and squish your lips together up to your nose and sniff. You are just so funny! You are truly a delight to everyone who gets to know you.
You continue to love your favorite morning show, Baby Einstein, and recently have taken an interest in Little Baby Bum. You LOVE to sing and dance with Mama. Your favorite song we sing is Old McDonald. You especially giggle hard when Mama Oinks at you. You very much love your kitty and puppy sisters, and petting them is just so fun! You enjoy your crinkly soft covered books, especially the ones that have rattles and squeakers.
You recently enjoy when Mama rocks you to sleep singing “Come What May". I love feeling you close to me and kissing your forehead and holding your hand as you drift to sleep. I love that your favorite place is in my arms.
You smile so big when your Daddy comes home from work! It’s so nice to see him love you how you deserve to be loved. You have been wanted for a very, very long time and we could not be more grateful to have you in our lives.
My little plum, you are the most important, beautiful, sweet and amazing person I have ever had in my life. I still cannot believe I made such a perfect little girl. I am so excited to see what these next 6 months bring for you and for our family. Most of all, I look forward to learning more about who you are. My sweet Emelia. My Emelia Grey.
