As a Lehigh Valley First Birthday & Cake Smash photographer, I absolutely love documenting baby’s first birthday; I love it even more when family is included in the session. I met this sweet baby girl and her family for the first time - she was pretty shy, but warmed up as our session went on. We started with family portraits and then it was time for baby to shine! After her ‘formal’ solo portraits, we moved on to her cake smash. I love using a vintage highchair that I painted for cake smashes; They are just so simple and sweet. Mama brought a beautiful garland and cake topper which just perfected the look of her session. She wore an adorable flared sleeve romper - in my opinion, nothing tops seeing a baby’s chunky little legs and adorable feet (I don’t like babies in shoes.) We chose a location that was abundant in florals and really lended to the overall look we were going for. Baby girl had no hesitation in getting into that cake - YUM! One of my favorite things to photography are the precious details - her sweet eyelashes, the cake on her hands and feet - all the things that will really make mama remember her baby girl exactly as she is. They’re only this small once - and I want you to never forget how small they really were.
As a Lehigh Valley First Birthday Photographer, I love simple, classic & timeless setups. Greenery and florals are the perfect complement to your baby. While themes like Sesame Street, Unicorns, and Characters are fun, they aren’t images you would probably adorn your walls with. I want my clients to have gorgeous images that will never go out of style and will grace every wall in your home beautifully.
