A Most Special Nursery for my own baby Girl {Lehigh Valley Newborn Photographer, Allentown Newborn Photographer, Bethlehem Newborn Photographer}

For over 4 years as a Professional Photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting so many homes for In Home Newborn Sessions. I absolutely adore getting to see the variety of nurseries created just for baby. I LOVE capturing nursery details as part of their newborn portrait session.

I had the sweetest moment today, photographing my own nursery that I put so much love and light into for our sweet baby girl, due any day now! We started trying for her in 2011 - and this year were surprised with our beautiful little perfect gift from the universe. I always knew I wanted an elephant nursery, but also wanted to keep it sweet and simple. The bedding is fabric I had printed at Spoonflower, and one of my fabulous clients Cori turned it into crib sheets, blankets, and changing pad covers for me. Her furniture is a mix of Target, Ikea, HomeGoods and a 1920’s refinished bookshelf. The sweet little elephant rocker was from a local mom’s group passed on. Some of the artwork came custom from Etsy, other things from Hobby Lobby. Her crochet elephant lovie came handmade from Great Britain! My husband worked really hard putting up the crown molding, painting, assembling furniture, and hanging everything for me. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the end result. The only thing to make this room complete (besides baby girl!) is a custom watercolor piece that’s being worked on, and the letters of her name (which we have kept a secret for just us!)
