There is so much we want to remember about a brand-new baby.
The wispy hair. The sleepy little expressions. The way their fingers curl around yours. Those impossibly tiny toes that somehow fit perfectly in the palm of your hand.
As a Lehigh Valley newborn photographer, I absolutely love capturing every one of those tiny details. But when I think about the photographs that truly tell the story of those first few weeks, they're about something even bigger.
They're about connection.
It's the way your baby settles against your chest because they already know that's where they belong. The way you look down at this tiny person and still can't quite believe they're finally here. The way your hands seem enormous wrapped around theirs.

I've always been drawn to newborn photographs that feel soft, organic, simple, and timeless.

My approach to newborn photography in the Lehigh Valley is centered around that simplicity. Your photographs don't need elaborate props or complicated setups to be meaningful.

I know how easy it is, especially during those first few weeks, to think:
Just photograph the baby.
